| St. Joseph
Montessori School celebrates 40 years! Though the school
started as St. Joseph Academy in the late 1800s, we
officially adopted the Montessori Method for both Children's
House and Elementary levels in 1968, making us the oldest
and largest Montessori School in central Ohio. |

2007-2008 |
| The third
graders in Primary 1 classroom are announced as a winner of Columbus Children's Theatre's Plant Me A Story
contest, with their rap called
"Transpiration Rap". Columbus Children's Theatre
travels the state performing it and also performs it in a
special presentation at SJMS. |

2006-2007 |
| The
Montessorian, our school newspaper, earns the second
place award from the American Scholastic Press Association.
The Montessorian is researched and written almost
exclusively by Middle School and Erdkinder students. |
