We offer an 8-week summer camp with a different learning theme each week. more on themes...
Parents can register children for AM, PM or Full Day sessions. Unless otherwise noted, morning sessions are centered around this weekly theme. Afternoon sessions get down to the basics of Summer Camp fun. Lots of physical activity, games, water play, and just plain fun in the sun.
St. Joseph Montessori School Summer Learning Camp is designed specifically for 3 different age groups. Children's House is for 3 through 6 year olds. Lower Elementary is for children 1st through 3rd grade. Upper Elementary is for children in 4th through 8th grade. Grade levels are determined by the grade the child will be entering in fall of 2010.
Program Times Summer Learning Camp is open from 7:30am - 6:00pm. Program activities are conducted primarily between 8:30 and 4:30 with free play time before and after. You can register for full or half days. Half day sessions can be either morning or afternoon. Here is how it breaks down: AM.....................7:30-12:30 only PM.....................12:30-6:00 only Full Day..............7:30-6:00 (registering for full day, means that students can arrive and leave at any time between 7:30 and 6)
Once registered for a time slot, you
may make changes ONLY if approved by the Summer Camp Coordinator.
Students registered for AM only must be picked up by 12:45.
Students registered for PM only may not arrive prior to 12:15. Jammin' with Carolyn and Sandra program is a music class designed for children, infants to 5 years old, with an adult companion. Older siblings are welcome to join, too. It takes place on Thursday mornings from 9:45-10:30 throughout the summer camp program. (8 weeks, one day per week.) more on jammin,,,
