Montessori Matters - My Favorite Things

One of my favorite Montessori materials in the children’s house classroom is “ The Golden Bead Layout with numerals”. This work is also known as the 45 layout. I enjoy seeing the delight in the faces of children when they are able to completely set this work up successfully. This work allows the child to combine the quantity and symbols in practice and to become familiar with their correspondence. Here is more information.
