RESCHEDULED - Montessori U: Parent Education Night With Xavier University

"All human victories, all human progress, stand upon the inner force."

Dr. Maria Montessori felt, by working independently, children could reach new levels of autonomy and become self-motivated to reach new levels of understanding. This self-reliance, in turn, could foster greater human progress as a whole. But Dr. Montessori opened her first "Children's House" in 1906; are the Montessori teachings still relevant today?

Come join us on Monday, November 17 Thursday, January 8 from 6:00 - 7:00 for Montessori U: a Parent Education Series with Xavier University. The topic for the evening will be "Why Montessori Works" presented by the Head of School of Xavier's Lab School, Rosemary Quaranta. The event is open and free to all, but free childcare (including dinner for the children) will be available to SJMS parents! Make sure to RSVP to Sam Frost in the Office if you are interested in taking advantage of childcare.
